The Geneva Motor Show saw Ford release a range of new models added to the Vignale sub-brand. The new S-Max and Kuga will be given the upmarket upgrades on top of the Edge, which is due for release in the UK later in the year.
The Mondeo is the only vehicle currently available in the Vignale spec, and the new models will feature the same upgrades. On the inside, the cars will all feature a hexagonal-quilted ‘Windsor’ leather trim on the seats, dashboard and doors. Ford’s ‘Sync3’ touchscreen infotainment system will also be included. On the outside, each car will have extra chrome trim, a new grille and unique paintwork.
Ford have also hinted that the current Kuga will be given a ‘hot’ upgrade. Speaking about the current SUV market, executive vice president Raj Nair stated “A little bit more horsepower and a little more crisper handling is certainly something that we are seeing.” Ford look to follow this trend when boosting the Kuga.
