The Fiesta and Focus ST-Line hatchbacks have been available for a few weeks now, with the Mondeo in the pipeline. Ford have officially announced that later in the year the new face lifted Kuga will be released in the ST-Line spec level. The new Kuga ST-Line will be feature tuned suspension, a 10mm lower ride height, new 18″ and 19″ alloy wheels and new sports seats. Ford have explained that the Kuga will take the suspension bushes from the current Focus to give “comfort and performance”. From the outside, the Kuga will feature front and rear tinted lights, black roof rails, privacy glass and a new finish to the grille. No price list have been released for the car, but they are expected early next week.
Ford have said that are expecting SUV sales to raise to 27% of total passenger car sales by 2020, with the rate currently standing at 23%. They are also predicting that in Europe, the Kuga, Ecosport and Edge will take up 200,000 sales in 2016.
