The way in which technology has changed over the years has changed in way the cars are for the endurance racing that is the Le Mans
From starting with only having seatbelts in basically brakeless cars. Nowadays, they’re surrounded by borderline bomb-proof carbon safety cells with space-grade drive-trains, allied to the kind of down-force that allows them to slink around La Sarthe at some speed.
