AutoCar have spotted the facelifted Ford Ecosport testing in North Wales for the very first time. The new car takes a few slight appearance changes, to align itself closer to the more aggressive looking Kuga and Edge models, and will also feature Ford’s Sync3 infotainment system, as well as a possibility of a four-wheel drive option. The engine line up looks set to remain identical to the current model with a 1.0 EcoBoost petrol unit, 1.5 petrol unit and 1.5 diesel units choose from.
Manager of SUV communications at Ford, Jeremy Schofield suggested that a four-wheel-drive Ecosport could be on it’s way by saying that there is a small but significant proportion of the market looking for B-Spec 4×4 SUVs.
