The US state of Michigan has passed a new law to allow fully autonomous vehicles on public roads, even if they have no steering wheel! Michigan is all ready famous for his automotive history, with Ford originating from the state alongside other big brands and Republican Governor, Rick Snyder said that the new law could make the state “the epicentre for driverless vehicle technology.”
Autonomous technology is the next big thing in the car industry and with the majority of brands working somewhere within self driving vehicles, the future looks exciting. Ford have set themselves a target of 2021, to have a fully autonomous car on the roads but have hinted at building self-driving technology into cars before then.
