Vauxhall’s 113 year history will be proudly displayed to all this June, giving Vauxhall enthusiasts and petrol heads alike an opportunity to explore over 70 iconic vehicles at the Vauxhall Heritage centre, free of charge.
This year’s heritage centre open day will see mark the anniversaries of two classic Vauxhall models, the Viva HB and Bedford commercial vehicle. The Viva HB was first manufactured at Vauxhall’s Ellesmere Port 50 years ago and the last ever Bedford commercial vehicle was produced 30 years ago.
Iconic vehicles covering Vauxhall’s 113 year history will be on display from each decade. Bedford commercial vehicles, VXR Astra’s, GSi and GTE models as well as a 1959 Wyvern L-type will be present, demonstrating the variety of Vauxhall models available throughout the years.
Vauxhall’s Heritage Centre Open Day takes place on Sunday, June 12 and is located behind Vauxhall’s Head Office in Luton on Park Street, Luton LU1 3HG. The open day runs from 10am to 4pm with refreshments throughout the day for guests.
