On May 16th Volvo will be revealing the next 2 cars in the roster which will see the entire Volvo line-up being revamped. We do know that the next 2 cars will be based on the CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform that was developed alongside parent company Geely.
Volvo teased some images on Snapchat recently which gives an indication of who these new models are aimed at and it can be clearly seen that there is a family resemblance to the New XC90 in the shape of Thor Hammer headlights.
It is widely expected that the announcement will include a new generation of the current Volvo best-seller the V40. The most eagerly awaited announcement though is for the XC40 and it is believed that this could be revealed as well. This would see Volvo push into the fast growing sector of Compact Crossover cars and use their expertise and styling skills from experience with larger 4x4s.
We’ll keep you updated as we know more.
