- A customised Ford GT Inspired Ford Focus RS designed by Forza Motorsport for XBox will be unveiled at the 2015 Gamescom exhibition.
- The Forza Focus RS will be driven by the BBC’s The Stig at the pre show event.
- The Ford GT will also be on display at Gamescom allowing car fans and gamers alike to see Ford’s new GT Supercar first hand.
A very special Ford Focus RS designed by XBox Forza Motorsport players was unveiled at a Microsoft event just ahead of the 2015 Gamescom event. The unique Focus RS was driven to the even by the BBC fan favourite; Top Gear’s The Stig. The Stig will also feature in the new Forza Motorsport 6 game on the Microsoft XBox One gaming console.
The new Ford Focus RS is the 3rd Ford Focus RS after the previous two incarnations of the Focus RS launched in 2002 and 2009. The all new Focus RS has been developed by Ford Performance and will feature a highly tuned 350PS 2.3 litre EcoBoost engine. The Focus RS will now feature and innovative advanced intelligent All Wheel Drive system. This will also be the first RS with driver selectable Driving Modes – two key features being a Ford first – Launch Control and Drift Mode.
Ford has joined forces with Microsoft to feature the all new Ford GT supercar in Forza Motorsport 6. The Ford GT is at the apex of the Ford Performance line up. Featuring a highly tuned twin turbocharged V6 EcoBoost engine clad in an aerodynamic carbon fibre body; the Ford GT delivers on of of the most impressive power to weight ratios of any production car.
The Focus RS GT Livery was the result of a winning design organised by gaming website IGN for players of the open world racing game Forza Horizon 2.
