MORE than 500 classic vehicles will be converging on Ripon Racecourse on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
As well as classic cars, motorcycles, vans, 4x4s and ex-military vehicles, the day will include trade stands and many club displays.
The Ripon Classic Car, Bike Show and Autojumble on August 28 follows a similar event back in May which saw more than 2,000 people come through the gates.
Owners of classic British cars such as MGs, Triumph Stags, Austin Sevens and Land Rovers will be among those proudly presenting their treasured motors for visitors to enjoy.
Once again there will be the popular motor awards, a large auto jumble for anyone searching for a bargain or a rare discontinued part, and an arena with commentaries throughout the day.
Organiser Mark Woodward said: “It’s a fun packed summer day out that will fire-up the engines of even the most impassioned classic car connoisseur and I can’t think of a better way to spend a bank holiday.”
The show runs from 10am to 4pm and admission will be £6.50 for adults and £2.50 for children.
