Vauxhall’s latest Astra has received its second award in as many days, this time winning the title of the UK’s Best Small Hatchback. Having conquered Europe earlier this week by winning European Car of the Year at this year’s Geneva Motor Show, the Astra has set its sights on domestic domination.

John Challen, founder of the UK Car of the Year awards said “Vauxhall has shaken up the C-segment with the Astra. Big improvements in refinement, quality and driving dynamics are to be applauded”
