Could you soon be driving under Heathrow Airport?

Heathrow Airport runway bridge taxiway M25

The latest expansion plans for Heathrow Airport see plans for a series of bridges crossing the M25 allowing traffic and planes to take off without any interruptions. In 2016, the government’s Secretary of State for Transport, Chris Grayling suggested that it would be much cheaper to built over the motorway rather than building a diversion. These plans have been created by Phil Wilbraham, the man who oversaw the building of Heathrow’s Terminals 2 and 5 and reflect the ideas explained by Grayling.
