Ford have confirmed that a new model will be displayed at this months Mobile World Congress Event in Barcelona and if rumours are to be believed, the face lifted Ford Kuga will be this new model. In addition to the car, Ford have confirmed they will be promoting their brand new in-car technology system.
Last year, at the LA Motor Show, Ford displayed a new Escape, the US version of the Kuga. This leading to the rumours of the new Kuga being in Barcelona. The new vehicle has an altered grille and tail lights, giving the car a similar look to the up and coming Edge which is due later in the year. The current Escape features Sync3, consisting of a 7″ touch screen with gives advanced controls such as engine start, locking and future engine starts direct from a smartphone.
Currently available with a 1.5 petrol or 2.0 litre diesel engine, no word has been said weather Ford will take a similar route to the US market and over more choice of units.
