It’s been a busy few months for Vauxhall but they are showing no signs of slowing down. Having recently launched the new Astra Sports Tourer and revealed the next generation Mokka X, Vauxhall’s attention now shifts to the much loved Zafira Tourer.
The original Zafira Tourer launched in 2011 as a larger alternative to the Zafira B, one of the bestselling MPVs of all time and has been steadily increasing in popularity since.
Previously based on the Astra J foundations, the new Tourer will undergo a major facelift to bring it in line with Vauxhall’s new design philosophy followed by the Corsa, Adam, New Astra and future Mokka model.
As well as a new platform and exterior looks the new Tourer will bt the latest Vauxhall model to incorporate the new Intellilink R4.0 system, enabling users to connect their smartphones to their vehicle using AndroidAudo and Apple CarPlay. The award winning OnStar is also included.
No word yet on which engine choice will be on offer but we expect to see 1.6-litre ‘Whisper Diesel’ in addition to petrol options.
