George Osbourne confirmed that fuel duty will remain at it’s current price for a 6th year in a row, dated back to March 2011. Fuel duty has been held at 57.95p per litre due to drop in oil prices, although 20% VAT is added to the price. The average price of petrol in the UK was 102.7p and 102.9p for diesel, according to the RAC Foundation; figures which are expecting to remain very similar.
